Our check in was late evening, so they discounted our price. The check in process was hassle free. The room was clean and crisp. Everything looks new or well taken care of. It is spacious. The breakfast was sufficient. Coffee is good! But the folks who run this place- they get the five stars. They are truly the nicest folks! The room feels clean and nice-most important for a toddler running around, but this place is run by people who help you remember a place when looking for somewhere to tuck your family overnight.
My wife and son had to meet our daughter in Antlers, OK and we needed a room. After all the reviews that we read, we decided on Budget Inn. I checked in and went to our room. As soon as the door was opened, bugs (most were dead) were everywhere! My wife turned around and said, "Oh NO, I'm not staying here!" The room was very musty and stale smelling and I know the room was 100* or more. It would have taken all evening and all nite to cool the room. I went straight to the front desk and told the lady I wanted and needed a refund. I asked her if they ever clean the rooms or vacuum. This place is disgusting!!
It was much nicer than I anticipated and my expectations were met for lodging in a town this size. If I had stayed during a busier time, it wouldn't have been as comfortable, as the rooms seem to let too much noise in (and out). The only drawback I came away with was that the Continental breakfast was a bit of a let down, though this was easily remedied by starting the day at Mjay's Diner about one-half mile down the road.
Very nice hotel. We stayed here for the weekend and will definitely be coming back every time we are in Antlers. The staff was very friendly. The housekeeper was very friendly and the rooms were clean. The breakfast was great.
Tolerable hotel at best. Judging by reviews in the area, best you can expect. Staff is very nice, room itself isn't dirty in the sense of it, but the room smells odd and the bathroom smells closer to a public restroom than anyone would probably like. Water is hot, bed is definitely older, but comfortable just the same. Wifi is terrible at the end of the hall, so shoot for a center room if you can talk them into it. Severe lack of available outlets in convenient places... Near the bed, all used and had to unplug the alarm, the desk has one open below the desk, but nothing else nearby. The TV is some off brand I've never seen and interferes with every electronic device ever made (you can hear a hugely loud hum from it in the power supply). Could use with some updating to say the least, new lamps with built in power would probably be a good start, some proper wifi would be even better.
